Smoke fills the Hickory Street neighborhood in Silver Creek.

A heavy haze of smoke filled a portion of Silver Creek on Monday afternoon. That was due to a vehicle fire that took place near 7 Hickory St. Responders were dispatched around 2:15 p.m. to the location. Silver Creek Fire Department, Sunset Bay Fire Department and Hanover Center Fire Department responded. The fire was out by 3 p.m.
