James D. Clarke, 78, of Forestville, NY passed peacefully surrounded by family on June 26, 2017. Jim was born Dec. 7, 1938 in Buffalo, NY to the late Gilman Clarke and Dorothy Bogue. He worked for Great Lakes Printing, Dunkirk, NY as a printer for 34 years. Jim enjoyed hunting, bee keeping, painting, gardening and repairing TVs. Loving husband to Betty L. Felt for 57 years, cherished father to Jamie D (Bill O’Neill) Potter, Desiree L. Coon, William D. (Roselyn M.) Clarke and Dorothy M. (John Clement) Clarke; grandfather to Kristin A. (Eric) Potter, Jeremy W. (Kelly) Coon, Jennifer Clarke, Justin (Jake) Koch, Trisha L Moritz, John C., Grace C , Joshua and Charlie Clement, Dakoda Mekus, Michael Harris, Nicole Reily and Aimee O’Neill; great grandfather to Donovan, Camden, Teagan, Jade, Connor, Kaitlyn, Aidan and Araya; brother to Daryl (Penny) Clarke, Tom (Margie) Clarke, Gilman Clarke, Joann (Dan) Linenfelser and Clara Brown; also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
