Robert "Juni" Gonzalez

Robert Pete Gonzalez, JR., 33, also known as “Juni” unexpectedly passed away on June 18, 2018. He was a former resident of Westfield, NY. Juni was born on July 17, 1984 to Rosa M. Cettell and Robert P. Gonzalez, Sr.

He was a big hearted teddy bear who lived life in the fullest. To those who knew him, Juni was hard working, kind, caring, charismatic, loving, full of life and so much more. He enjoyed many things, including cooking, concerts and various events and any chance to make many memories with those he loved. He was always up for any challenge that was thrown his way and took great pride in being the life of the party and making everyone who crossed his path smile from ear to ear. He spent his free time taking care of his dog, Chicco, catching up with family and friends, and enjoying everything daily life had to offer.

Juni is survived by his beloved mother, Rosa M. Cettell of Dunkirk, NY, father, Robert P. Gonzalez, Sr. of Jamestown, NY, sisters, Evelyn Gonzalez, Elizabeth Gonzalez, and Heidi Gonzalez, all of Dunkirk, N,Y, brother Samuel J. Cettell of Ripley, NY, and grandmother, Crecencia Rosas of Westfield, NY. He is further survived by his nieces, Kassidy L. Cettell, Jacklyn M. Cettell, Izabella L. Klemann, Elena P. Lozada, Kaedence E. Jaffray, Maicelyn, P.R. McQuiggan, great niece, Oddysey M.R. Hunzinger, nephews Jamari A. Baez, Dominick A. Cettell, Marcus I. Cettell, Niko C. Lozada, Jadmel A. Nunez, Izaiah J. Sikes, Jaydon C. Jaffray and Liam C.G. McQuiggan.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Patrick S. Thompson and niece, Jivae A. Baez.

Hanging on his wall were these words, “Not to spoil the ending, but, everything’s going to be OK”. This saying was his guiding principle of his life.

Juni’s Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at 4:00 PM in the Fantauzzi Funeral Home, 82 East Main Street, Fredonia, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his service and may call at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, prior to the service.

A celebration of Juni’s life will be announced at the funeral home.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Michael R. Fantauzzi.
