Many in our region are clamoring for change. Others believe the current system is the best.
On Feb. 5, our community has a chance to make its voice heard. A forum on the future of our municipal governments has been set for the Opera House at 7 p.m. Besides Stan Lundine and activist Kevin Gaughan, nine others involved in town, village and city government will be a part of the discussion.
What really matters is hearing from the public. Last January and April, Brocton and Fredonia schools asked for input from district residents on the direction they should take in the future. Overwhelmingly, residents asked for a merger study. That study is currently in progress.
