Lincoln's travels

President Abraham Lincoln's connection with Western New York has been well documented.

In Westfield, there is a statue of the president with Grace Bedell, who wrote to Lincoln mentioning how much more dignified he would be if he grew a beard. Lincoln's casket also came through Westfield after he was assassinated.
