My Opinion

February 24, 2010 - Shawn Paulus
Welcome to my Blog! This Blog will be on a variety of topics from Government, Local and National News and Sports. I will even talk about some personal experiences on here. There is going to be spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes. I will never pretend to be a writer. Just a guy throwing his opinion out there for people to comment on!

You bet I hope people comment on the Blog good and even the bad. Heck I know most people in my life don’t agree with me so what are a few more. On that note!

I was listening to legislature Representatives Mr. Croscut and Mr. Ahlstrom this morning on WDOE. People kept coming in and waking me up they must have heard me in here snoring away. One thing I took out of the 30 minutes is Mr. Croscut and Mr. Ahlstrom anticipate in the April Meeting that the reduction of our oversized legislature will be brought up. Well my guess is it will be brought up. Then it will be tabled until a study can be done to see if it is necessary to reduce the number of representatives. Then another study to study the study to see if it is feasible to move forward.

A good start will be when Mr. Croscut is appointed majority leader in March and then Mr. Caflisch is appointed clerk we can just do away with Mr. Caflisch’s District and turn it over to Mr. Croscut since their districts border each others.

Since the two gentlemen this morning on the radio said that most of the time that the votes are unanimous, then we do not need that 25th seat. Yes people 25 seats no typo there, still hard for me to see that number. So let’s start with one seat disappearing until the studies can be done.
