| | The real "diversion"June 2, 2010 - John D'AgostinoA Chautauqua County legislator this week called the downsizing proposals a "diversion." Really? Despite polls run by the county newspapers and a Dunkirk radio stations that call overwhelmingly for less representation in our Legislature, downsizing is a "diversion?" Maybe the real "diversion" is this: 14 county legislators who continue to vote no on downsizing — over and over and over again — because they do not care what their constituents are saying. They only care about keeping their own job. The other "diversion" lawmakers should be paying attention to is their horrible record over the last 20 years of spending and taxes. That's the real "diversion" for those who can no longer afford to live here anymore. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
