Another Attempt At Downsizing

May 16, 2011 - Dunkirk OBSERVER
Posted by Nicholas L. Dean

The issue of downsizing will return to the County Legislature next week.

A proposal made by John Runkle, R-Stockton, to set the number at 19 failed to pass the full legislature last month.

An article detailing the vote at that meeting can be read by clicking here.

The local law was sent back out to county media today by the deputy clerk of the legislature, as Runkle has asked that it again be put to vote.

The legislature's regular business meeting for the month of May will be held next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the legislative chambers on the third floor of the Gerace Office Building in Mayville.
