In their words: Legislature candidates

October 31, 2013 - John D'Agostino
There are four races for County Legislature in our region. Three of those races were part of a debate Tuesday hosted by the League of Women Voters.

Included in the audio link at right are the statements of the candidates. In District 3, incumbents Bob Scudder and William Coughlin are running. In District 4, Janet Keefe is battling Michael Sullivan and in District 5, Susan Baldwin takes on Terry Niebel.

The candidates speak in this order: Coughlin, Keefe, Scudder, Niebel, Sullivan and Baldwin. You will also hear comments about the prop brought by Sullivan — a camel with baskets full of straw having its back broken — at the end of his statement.

Election day is Tuesday.
