Cuomo’s visit

New York state Gov. Andrew Cuomo was warmly greeted on Sunday morning.

With a crowd of more than 500 residents assembled in the Clarion in Dunkirk, the governor received a standing ovation of more than 60 seconds. He saluted area leaders and then announced a major initiative for the future of the region.

He is introduced by Dunkirk Mayor Anthony J. Dolce.

John D. I hope you will use the investigative resources of The Observer to find out who was responsible for scaling back the original proposal and for what reason. There has to be a reason why we lost out on $350 million of private sector investment. Many thanks.
