Water rates differ throughout region
Water. In times of drought we think about it more. For those living on wells, there's no monthly charge, but there's also little one can do when it runs out. For those who get municipal water, there's an assurance - save the broken water lines - that in general water will be available every time that faucet is turned. When water levels drop, officials urge less consumption and place various restrictions, which usually include the washing of automobiles and using lawn sprinklers. Comparing water rates can be quite difficult. Almost always, residents inside a village or city will be charged less than those living outside the same village or city. But comparing water rates between villages is a challenge. That's because some communities bill on different cycles and some have different minimum amounts.
