Youth Football Jamestown Area Midget Football League Dunkirk 26, Falconer 0 — Dunkirk’s defense recorded its seventh shutout in there past eight games. Leading the way for the Dunkirk defense was Zack Torain with 12 total tackles and 6 tackles for a loss. Nate Skubis and Juliam Fred each recorded nine tackles. The Marauders' offense was led by Miquel Fred's 102 yards rushing and two touchdowns while Ryan Ruiz picked up 93 yards and a touchdown. Also for Dunkirk, Josh Goodwin picked up his first varsity touchdown on his way to 89 yards rushing. Lake Shore Midget Football League (jayvees) Bemus Point 12, Westfield 0 — Jed Micek's fourth quarter touchdown broke open a close game as Bemus Point topped Westfield. Micek finished with 63 yards rushing while Nathan Saar contributed 45 yards on seven carries with and a touchdown. Howie Nolan and Chase Helgren led the Bemus Point defense in solo tackles with three each while teammate A.J. Putt had an interception.
