Kris Beal was a credit to her community, including SUNY Fredonia. I won't say she was a close friend (since I've been away for so long) but always a decent, pleasant, open individual. She and Dallas made a great pair, and I owe a lot to them both for their kindnesses. She will be missed and her kind of person seems to be dwindling in number in our contentious world.Tom Regelski
