"In fact the Home, with the IGT funds runs a SURPLUS". Judeye, why is it that you can not see that IGT funds are tax dollars

I do see this as tax dollars. Yet they are out there and if we do not get them someone else will. Like the community block grants, the school grants, etc... If we do not use them does not mean they will go away or our taxes will go down. That is the point that I was making..and the point that is in the study that we..the taxpayer,..paid for at the tune of some $80,000. Why is our county ignoring the findings in the study after they agree to pay for the study? Makes NO sense to me at all.

Many reasons why I oppose the sale of the Home. One of the most important is in another study by the same research group states that when a county run nursing home is sold to a private enterprise that up to 25% of the residents will have NO where to go. The type of illness, care, etc will restrict which nursing homes will accept them.
