And how many people have we ever hard of being killed with a hammer in the last 20 years? Pretty sure no one has walked into a school and killed 20 six year old's with a hammer. Dumb statement, and let's face it, this guy is thrilled with the business. We need, at a minimum, registration of all guns. The internet and gun show sales is crazy. All of you gun enthusiasts must be perfectly happy knowing any terrorist can easily get guns on-line.

You libs want to think for us. You libs give more tolerance to jihadists than an everyday citizen. The govt called Ft Hood workplace violence. In virtually every islamic attack we are urged to be tolerant of muslims. Why not the same tolerance for gun owners ? Marcia, are you related to judeye ? The school was a gun free zone. Sue the retards that passed this and thought it would work.

Marcia, Your statement is un true. You cannot easily get guns online. You can pay for one on line BUT it MUST be delivered to a FFL Federal Firearm Licensed person prior to being delivered to the purchaser. The FFL does the back ground check on the purchaser, and registers the gun. If you by a gun at a gun show same deal.

commonsence2009,

Don't bother, I mean if this anti-gun crazies actually looked at facts they might have to question how the "assault rifle" ban could have prevented the school shooting when the Bushmaster rifle that's been demonized wasn't in the school but was in the car of the nutcase who carried out the shooting.

CNN even reported this fact the first day of the shooting, as the police on the scene reported this fact, but of course inconvenient truths such as this disappear into the ether when there is a chance to push a leftist agenda through.

mcjens, because it's called the Bill of Rights, not the Bill of Needs.

Marcia, the FBI reports more people are killed annually with hammers than assault rifles. The reason you don't hear about it is because it's not news. You do know that you jut can't buy guns on line, don't you? They have to be sent to a dealer which then has to call in the background check. When you order a gun online, you're actually buying it through a gun store. Unfortunately, your governor was able to hoodwink the unlearned on this subject.

stangv8,

Your wrong, the reason you don't hear about those deaths, unless they are local, is that the left and their willing accomplices in the media haven't found a way to use them to help push their agenda through, but if they ever do then we will hear about every single occurance ad nauseum.
