Sharpton is a coattail-riding fool, who lost his way once MLK died, and found that he loved the spotlight, at one point tricking a young person to degrade herself to help further his own personal agenda.
MLK was the last true activist in the U.S. Anybody following him are just poseurs seeking the spotlight. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, anybody claiming to be a champion of equal rights is a sham. MLK deserves respect. The rest resorted to lies, deception, and violence to stake their claims. Gandhi would've been proud of MLK. The rest, he might've vomited profusely.

King would be shocked that pasty fat white guys like Steinerdzzz would ever think of themselves to ever be in a position to believe he knew the black experience, let alone be able to pass judgment on what its like to be an African American in this country.
Sort of like Steinerdzzz passing his wisdom on to us on what its like to be a woman, let alone a woman in this country, when he has zero female body parts to speak of.
MLK would not be shocked to know that Obama is a Democrat, that blacks are overwhelmingly Democrat and that Latinos and Asian Americans are flocking to be Democrats as well, seeing how by 2030 all minorities will be the political and social majority in this country for the rest of its days...
He would be shocked at the amount of racism that still surrounds us.
Going to the luncheon with my granddaughter. Last year we went to the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. It is in the hotel where MLK was murdered. We got to see the balcony where he stood when the shots came, from across the street (it is also part of the museum) Very interesting history. One that my young grandchildren had difficulty understanding why anyone would care what color skin a person has...
Must admit...I have trouble understanding this as well.
MLK would be in shock at the condition of the black people today. Out of wedlock births, abortions, murder of their own by their own. The dems in all their glory of JIm Crowe and slavery could not do what the black people are doing to themselves. Especially in education, there were laws forbidding slaves to learn how to read. Now we have the great public employee unions doing the same thing. And the blacks keep voting democratic !
