Now, now..don't leave out the "Patriots" part of that name!!! It's VERY important to be wrapped in the Red, White and Blue when one is leaning towards certain parts of the political spectrum. After all, they have claimed it as their own. Everyone else is a Communist or a Socialist or perhaps even an Anarchist, but certainly NOT a "Patriot"!

Wonder if any of these TEA folks read the report that we paid for with our taxes? That report clearly states that with the IGT funds the Home runs at a SURPLUS.

"The County Home is NOT the major drain on taxpayers that many have assumed......The County Home has generated a small average net annual surplus of about $110,000 per year since 2007"

I do not understand why they do not use this surplus to help pay for the match money required to get the IGT funds.

By the way TEA, you do understand, even if the HOME is sold, your taxes will NOT go down one cent.

It is just where we choose to spend our money that is an issue. For me, I choose to support our most vulnerable citizens in their time of need.

I ask the nay sayers if you have visited any of Avi's Homes? I'm sure not. You just believe everything you read on the internet and we all know you can't put anything on the internet that isn't true. Also the 1 star rated Home is not the perfect place you would like to make it. The surplus, if it exists, includes 3 mil in IGT funds. Taxes may not go down but they will surely go up if the Home is not sold.

commentor..Have you??..The 1 star rating is an outlier amongst all the good ratings thru the years, the rating was low because of small technicalities not Quality of care..Star ratings?..Avi said so himself he doesnt believe in this rating system..

Somehow, "Tea Party" and unbiased "research" goes together like "pleasant flatulence" and "crowded elevator".

In reality, if the so-called "Tea Party" did a scintilla of anything that was unbiased, unbigoted, anit-ideological, etc ...then it wouldn't be the "Tea Party" at all.

Which brings up a truer point: the initial political/social reaction(s) behind the so-called "Tea Party" had nothing to do with the Boston Tea Party at all. It had more to do with the Shay's Rebellion than the Boston Tea Party.

So, when a "Tea Partier" claims they did their homework, surely, they did not.

So, as always, tea parties are for little girls with imaginary friends.

Somehow liberalism and mental disability go together like the runs and an outhouse. Come to think of it both are full of the same stuff.

Judeye, again, IGT funds are supplied by taxpayers. That's not a surplus, it's prolonging the bleeding.

So, what is the actual rating of the County Home anyway? Is it crap, or is it good, whose system is doing the rating, and how does it compare to Rothner's?
