So then can someone tell me what we are getting for our town taxes that we have to pay? I live in the village, I drive county and state roads for the most part...so what do those that live in the villages get from the town? The village removes services, the town removes services, the county removes services, the state removes services and yet we pay taxes to all entities.....smh

Maybe all these years all were in agreemant and just kept extending as is. Now there is someone who wants to make a name by stirring something of a handshake into a mountain.

I would like to point out that the villages do pay for the town's building inspector/CEO. They pay through their taxes since it is under the General Fund which is Town-wide. Also - they pay because the Town receives the building permit fees.
