Who wants Dunkirk water, some day when Dunkirk bottoms out, you will see the price of water go way up as a source of income for the City! Plus you will have to add many pump stations to pump up hill from Dunkirk, adding extra cost. Fredonia's water is cheap now, with Dunkirk as the supplier, it wont be as cheap for residents and businesses. It would eventually be like Erie County Water Authority taking Silver Creek and Hanover for a BIG ride!

Fredonia does not need to get in bed with Dunkirk for anything. Dunkirk is desperate to*****up with anyone to try and save themselves. The Observer is making a bigger deal out of the 99 than it really is. They don't have many many problems to pick on Fredonia for so they are beating this one to death. FREDONIA STAY AWAY FROM DUNKIRK!!!!!!

Geeeez, I guess some of that water Fredonia desperately needed from Dunkirk not too long ago has some Hilltoppers boiling over.

Their arguments don't hold water; run out of steam; are water over the dam, under the bridge, over the river and through the woods; dead in the water; muddy the water; are watered down; pour oil on troubled waters; and, yes, their Waterloo.

I hate to pour cold water on that thinking, but you may need Lake Erie (and Dunkirk) again some day!

++ And if you enter <disagree>, your vote will flow like water off a duck's back...

"...who wants Dunkirk water?"

If D's water is so bad, next time these ingrates are in a jam, tell em' to go pound salt.

I stand corrected - just the Hatfields were from WV; the McCoys were from KY.

Neither family had permits... :-)

Oh, no - I pulled a DarkStar, had too many screens open, and posted at the wrong thread!

For my punishment, I will drink a gallon of Fredonia water... :-)
