Social media a trap for trustees

Facebook is a place for the immature. The posts are laughable and reflect a lack of intelligence.

All Small towns have some small minded people in them.

Or as Mark Twain once said, "For practice, God made the idiot. Then he made school boards."

Twain could also have easily expanded "boards" to include village boards or local newspaper editorial/op-ed boards as well.

interesting how the only name cited in this article is the clerk who took a shot at the observer. to quote d'agustino "vengeful? without a doubt" makes you wonder the trustee is protected and not revealed but take a shot at jack and your name gets published - very classy reporting

If a trustee published on a social media site someone's personal business that is beyond shameful..to me that would warrant a strong reprimand, if not removal from office.

They only were able to obtain that information due to their elected position. As such, they should honor that position with its code of ethics, including confidentiality.

Pretty much shows that ole John is doing his job,that being a watchdog and a catalyst for good healthy debate. Now back to the rest of the "disturber".
