Many Catholics feel an estrangement feom their Church. Why the rejection, un-Catholic responses of bob and time (what fire to you fear?) to a soul griever for the loss of what she believed in, trusted, consecrated herself to,and seems to have been lost with the more than prolific cases of where priests have let us down. Now we're faced with a Pope who has abdicated is he still infallible in the eyes of God and Catholics or do his views resort to anything much more than the views of an ordinary sinner? The whole edifice of infallibility (including the conclusion rather late in Cathodic history of the status of priests as male only and celibate) is worth considering by Catholics (I was thus raised, if their faith and belief are to be grounded in anything more than 'received' ideas from their parents and community of birth. One doesn't usually choose to be Catholic; quite the opposite is the case where those brought up in the 'faith' find other values. Dialogue would be useful.

The "libs"? What planet are you one, certainly not earth; where The Universal Church of Jesus Christ HAS and IS perpetrating a crime of inhuman proportion upon children. Blog on as you do daily in both county newspapers but, you have shown here your extreme idiocy and complete lack of care for children. Your comment here is REVOLTING, there IS and never will be a defense of any church that commits these crimes. Your reponse is sooo very crude.

Sarah, the Pope looks pretty frail. Many people dont make it to that age . Whatever wrong has been done by kids being abused by priests is far outweighed by the damage to our kids in our great public school system. Once again, everyone must bow to the libs and do what they say. You mentioned the good of the people, that is a good phrase too !
