I would say to the trustee that the railroad bridges are the least of the village's problems. Let's concentrate on employee union contracts that are killing the taxpayers with benefits only the federal govt. gets. Health care costs for most seniors rose up to 60 % because of Obama-care and then they have to pay for employees free ride for insurance. They make far more money than 90 % of the seniors and can afford to pay a good share of their health insurance costs. We are losing small businesses, residents, and Petri's where do they think the money will come from?

I agree with you eagleswings. They can start by eliminating the police force. Then they can look at shared services with the town. They could have already merged the DPW and water department after the flood but Kurt decided that he did not want that for fear of people losing jobs. Well now look at the mess we are in. I hope Nick looks at the future and is positive rather than status quote

Eagleswings, let me get this right now you want to kill the employees but last week you want to keep the employees? Which one is it? I agree with Bronski, time to look at other avenues for ALL departments.
