In case the disagrees were about my statement that the kids were not real criminals, I have this to say; any individual can be sued for a person being hurt by the individuals ownership of "an attractive nuisance". I'd say the old JN Adam building more than qualifies as an "attractive nuisance". Trust me, if a kid gets hurt there, eventually, someone will be suing the State and the City of Buffalo over it based on that premise, that of "an attractive nuisance".

For whomever disagreed with my comment that the building should have been torn down years ago, as a former employee I say without fear of disagreement that the place is FILLED with Asbestos, the porches are literally falling off, the basement looks like a giant erector set, with a web of beams holding up the upper stories and many water pipes froze and leaked water all over the place, between walls, etc. It would take literally tens of millions of dollars to fix the place, and for what use? It's a disaster. Certain locals have been in "lala land" over reuse for decades. Even the buildings ownership is complicated, a tug of war between the State and the City of Buffalo. If I were the state, I'd be demanding that Buffalo do something about it. They're the ones who blocked the states only chance for a sale.

Sounds like it might be a way to generate some income Ghost hunts. Maybe overnites for Halloween. Might there also be a chance for a paranormal trail... be easy on these trespassing ghostbusters. Maybe some community service for breaking and entering and consuming police time.

It's just a bunch of kids being kids. I hope everyone is reasonable about this, a small fine and begone! The place should have been torn down years ago.
