I wonder if the good doctor from buffalo feels those things about the 17yr.old girl he left to die on the side of road after hitting her while driving drunk and running home to hide evidence.IMO this girl will get alot more than he did.I'm guessing 7yrs but anyway a tradegy for all involved especially the victims family.

2nd DWI? Wow unbelievable that such a young person can not care enough about herself to allow herself to get in that condition to begin with let alone putting other peoples life in danger!! I wonder if she remembers anything about that horrific accident and if she has any remorse!! Not just feeling sorry for herself because she has to deal with all the legal issues.Does she deep within her soul feel sorry for her actions that took that babies life? Does her heart feel sad when she thinks about that woman who she physically hurt in the accident? Does she ever wonder what the woman is going through mentally with the loss of her beautiful child? If this girl does not think or feel any of those I've mentioned she will drink & drive again!! Mark my word when this girl gets sentenced it will be a slap in the hand & a fine-license revoked. If she gets jail time I'm guessing anywhere from 6 months to 1 yr.Maybe even a long term rehab.Read similar articles within NYS papers.

i hope she gets the help she needs not only for her drinking but also in dealing (and healing) emotionally. i hope she finds the courage to speak to others and maybe save some lives.

This is the girl's 2nd DWI.She extinguished a beautiful life before it could begin. She deserves to get the maximum sentence.

Tragic indeed.

Anyone remember who was posting on the original story, when this first happened, and was saying something like "known of you people judging her know what your talking about, she wasn't drunk she was just tired after working all night?"

Tragic for all.

My heart goes out for the mother and her loss of her infant child. There is no pain as painful as the loss of a child. May she find peace with the support and love of her family and friends, and God.

Tragic too for this young girl whose life is now ruined by very bad choices she made. I hope she can get the help she needs.
