It is very encouraging from an educator's standpoint to have the Commissioner of Ed. out of his office and in districts engaging with with both teachers and students to see if the ideas that have come from the state are actually bearing fruit and that seems to be the case. It is refreshing to have the head of the State Ed. out in the field to get feedback on new approaches in education.
