there is no problem when ppl question others opinion- including mine!! I don't have any issues with that.I have issues when ppl get so riled up that they make it a point to start name calling & making nasty direct & indirect remarks to a specific person- about that specific person, when essentially they have no clue who they are ridiculing or anything about that person.

DarkSt-thats what I mentioned as well.(yesterday)You are correct. Saying that the Observer doesn't give a rats behind(not you) assumes that no one at the Observer has any elderly relatives or friends.

"Sometimes the Observer polls are just a way to get ppl riled up to start a big debate."

I realize that a significant number of people here do not want their opinions questioned but I have to ask, what's wrong with asking a question to get people discussing/debating an issue?

Should we wait for the verdict, or will the Observer's next poll be: "Would you have a problem letting this man be your child's bus driver?"
