Notice the subtle game played with my first post. Nowhere in that post did I even imply "gun ownership" is wrong. But if you read the first reply, you'd think so, wouldn't you. I know at least 3 regular posters on here who are probably having fits right now over this agreement. Anyone objecting to more stringent checks for firearms purchases is either a criminal, or ,yes, a gun NUT!

If I go to a gun show(which I do) and if I am subjected to the same check as purchasing locally say at J&J then I have no problem.

All gun owners are not gun nuts. Gun owners who get crazy over ANY and ALL efforts to rein in an uncontrollable and unacceptable situation and predict the ruination of their country because of it, who fail to see ANY problem with a murder by gun rate higher than most of the world, yes, those people are gun nuts.

Christopher, why are people who believe in "gun ownership" gun nuts? Just because they may believe differently than you? Isn't that being simple minded on "your" part? Why isn't the government enforcing the gun laws we already have?

A good thing, no doubt. Of course, the gun nuts will be out in force, decrying the ruinination of "Amerika"!!
