It appears ALL village governments have a lot to learn about not throwing stones when they I've in glass houses.

Oh yeah, let's add Silver Creek to the mix too. They INTENTIONALLY, buy a building to house their DPW that isn't located anywhere near the village borders, and at a ginormous price at that. and the building isn't anywhere near properly equipped for the job.

How does a village code enforcement officer threaten someone with violence in front of a witness and not wind up with at least some sort of anger management counseling, especially when they deal with the public on a DAILY BASIS? Is there an alternative to that person to inspect my work if I need it done?

More: streets department head in F-ville is gone after 15 years, and the ex-mayor, now streets department head, freshly hired, gets a $2/hr raise with no performance to back it up?

Commentor, for starters:

- Fredonia buys water for 3 entire months without notifying the public whatsoever. apparently, Fredonia either a) did not fund the water plant with enough funds for chemicals, or b) were completely ignorant, obtuse, and deceptive about what was going on. I'll stick to the latter. - Dunkirk can't account for money that was supposed to be spent on HUD projects, and receipts and documentation are suspiciously unavailable. - I forget her name, but the lady caught stealing funds from the CBDG funds and was canned in Dunkirk a couple years ago. - why does a pole cost $170,000 to erect in the park on Washington Street? Overtime? Get real. - 9 new firefighters with absolutely no plan to maintain the costs of said employees after a grant Runs out? Who in their right mind would think that's a good idea? - Why does a part-time employee in Fredonia receive full-time benefits/healthcare?

Commentor, you just described the village of Fredonia to a "T". Ironic that you claim the Town is incompetent when the village is stuck smack in the same quagmire.

Surprised......NO. Takes a head for business. Thank you David. And they think they should run the Village. No accountability does not surprise me. Sloppy management does not surprise me.
