As in most organizations feeding off Federal and State programs, and in the Healthcare Industry in particular, money meant for patient care is siphoned off for excessive management positions, often political hacks with no experience or nepotism at it's worst. Lakeshore was the issue, siphoning off all the money from Brooks to hide the incompetence of the business office there. The takeover also doubled the management positions, with obviously no benefit to anyone.

Should have kept Richard Ketcham. He brought the Hospital out of the bottom and ran it excellently. Don't know why he left but maybe you could beg him to come back.

My question is for the Board and Christopher Lanski. Who say .There is “urgent pressures of healthcare” and “Board officials have also expressed their confidence in the remaining executive leadership team to face those challenges at LERHSNY facilities. Those facilities include Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, Lake Shore Health Care Center in Irving, and the various outpatient facilities of TLC Health Network” Tell the Community WHO has been watching over the Lake Shore Campus closely this past 14 months, as Jonathan was building his own Kingdom?? He hired a COO who has been a Bully, Tyrant, and downright nasty since the day she entered the doors, with little to no regards to whom she mows over in her endeavors. When employees go with questions to her she tells them if they don’t like it there’s the door. Her threats have been many, and according to “Rumor” Jonathan kept her because she is “good with numbers and bottom lines. “ Look at the evidence. Patient satisfaction is low,

Well, it looks like this should have happened a long time ago, the board was way too slow in acting. He has hired many high paid underlings and now, they're going to be renting a whole floor of office space in Fredonia for the big-shots. Yet another "upside-down pyramid" organization. Top heavy management. More money wasted. This is a prime example where consolidation has not worked the way it was intended. The Berger commissions ideas were really never totally implemented the way they should have been. Makes me wonder about school consolidations. Will there just be more high paid "overseers" when its all said and done???

The real story is more interesting. A kingdom was being created with little access to the king. The environment at this hospital is hostile, unprofessional with managers turning their heads at bullying. A long-time professional was recently let go by a new "leader" who listened to a busy body. Why does this little hospital need all of these executives? Hopefully the board has realized how Mr. Lawrence was driving the hopsital to bankruptcy.
