DKexpat, I noticed that too. It would make the most sense to appoint someone who actually campaigned and wanted the job.

Good luck to Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Borrello, they will certainly need it. Remember village residents, you picked this leadership. Glad I no longer pay property taxes in the village.

Not even one day as mayor and she managed to get her buddy Bishoff in as trustee. Not such a new slate after all! Bishoff ran for mayor himself and lost. I said all along she had her own agenda.

If Dave Bishoff wanted to be a trustee and serve the people, why didn't he run for election? Because he would have lost. The new mayor should have appointed one of the people that ran and went door to door and actually wanted to be a trustee.
