"Not sure about the SAFE act and how quickly it was pushed through. I might not know that much about guns.."

So basically you're admitting you know nothing about the subject but just like to push your own agenda? Sounds like you were involved in the writing the SAFE Act!

Hey, Steiner, if it isn't really called a Steinertron, then what is it called, and where can we find one?

dk, you are challenged mentally. Steinertron is my word. i built machines based on ancient texts and what they were doing back then.It is all there if you know what they were doing. The libs mock the ancient works. America used to be a land of tinkerers but the democrats and their income tax put an end to that.So much for Christophers comment the right wing is the mandating wing. Nope, it is the democrats who stole all the money. Stunning, beautiful mistake by christopher.Up until 1950s, farmers made and produced electricity in this area and sold to others. The democrats made this impossible now with excessive taxation and regs. No more tinkering, and according to christopher you did not build that mindset. The democrats are literally too uneducated to do anything but steal. thats why i call them dumbocrats. The women flock to this party for their health care needs. sort of like food stamps for them. i am a tinkerer with vast knowledge of ancient writings and a lot of industry tim

hey judeye, the city folk cant speak english, the language of science and business. they graduate at half the education level of a white person. Inner city schools are hotbeds of libs and their teachers union. Obama is addressing the problem ? his party created the problem and in no way are they going to solve it.would you hire these people ? Drive thru buffalo or other major city, detroit, camden, philly, miami and see the dilapidation. This is the greatest democratic success story of all time .

judeye, you remind me of the north koreans and their worship of kim Jong. You substitute obama. The inner city folk vote democratic in droves and go to jail and cemeteries the same way.they are slow learners, like liberal women. The black family has been destroyed by the deomcratic party. They improved jim crow beyond anyones wildest dreams .george wallace would be proud. Obama only addressed the inner cities after sandy hook.he is making political hay bigtime. Its not the black peoples fault right judeye ? hey dk, Ted k was a lefty. i am not a lefty for sure. have you reversed engineered my steinertrons yet ? Still workin on it ?

Whenever I see a Steiner post, why do I think “Bar the door, hide the women and children, and thumb the slide release?”

Why do I think of a Ted Kaczynski clone living off the grid, pirating utilities and Internet access, building those mysterious gas-saving steintetrons, and wearing a tinfoil cap to keep aliens from stealing his secrets?

Is it just me?

P.S. I must say, though, I read his posts before I look for Dilbert in the comics section. :-)

Oh I do realize the violence that is in our cities..and much of it between people of color.

I think the President addressed that as well. He has called out the violence that is killing our children on a daily basis in many of our inner cities.

As for the number of people in prisons (yea USA number one in the people we put in prison) being minorities. Many reasons for that, too many to go into in this forum. One of course being discrimination not only on race but on economic status.

The President realizes this as well. He has not tried to close his eyes to the violence that plagues our Country and takes far too many young lives.

Abomination..how is he a hater and divider? I have seen nothing but compromise from him. In fact more compromise than many of us progressives would prefer.

How do you think he has promoted more hate and been a divider? Sincerely I am trying to understand the logic.

judeye , we have an african american democrat telling us about gun violence ? he should be laughed to scorn. He is mentally off for sure. His race fill our prisons and have shot and killed each other more than the jim crow stuff ever did.Fear or facts judeye ? an analogy for christopher, purchasing health insurance was linked to you have to buy car insurance no ? So away the libs went. Judeye, you and the libs have no knowledge of history or science . To disagree we are called hate filled. i guess we are just supposed to agree with a liberal. no ?

1Laona..say what?

Judicial watch..the conservative group that uses (abuses) the judicial system?

Could not find what ever you were trying to say about the growth in hate groups in the last few years. Would you be more specific?

Among the groups that the So Law center cites are groups like the Aryan brotherhood who just might have been the ones responsible for the recent murders of law officials in Colorado and Texas.

Oh..and they also list hate groups of all political sides and of all races, including the new Black Panthers.

The libs are upset ! Conservatives my way or the highway ? huh ? Who issues all the mandates ,especially the obamacare act, it was the libs thats who. Try reasoning with a lib on climate change. You will get no where. Libs are just mental dullards made strong by force of law.Reason with judeye ? she will say racism , foxnews , hatred, tax the wealthy, end of the world etc. there is no reasoning with liberals. How can you reason with mentally ill people ? judeye, you could approve gun and ammo purchases. Judeye shows why giving women the vote was a mistake.

Judeye, Why do think that the rush to stock pile guns and ammo atarted the very day after Obama was first elected in 2008?

Oh..I dont know. Hmm...could it have anything to do with the color of his skin by any chance? People get so afraid of any change.

Or the rage and hate that was being spewed all over the airwaves by those who make their money from promoting hate and FEAR.

What I love is watching people like Mikedavis and his minions tell me what I believe, even when in clear and concise terms I have written totally contrary columns and posts. How does this happen? Because like all Conservatives, it's "my way or the highway", there can be no other beliefs. Facts mean nothing, statistics mean nothing, the only thing that counts is pure Conservative dogma. Unlike Mikedavis, I find it more sad than funny, that so many people seem to have lost their ability to think, and have basically turned into Parrots.

Mike, I consider you a reasonable Conservative (well, most of the time-h e l l, I'm not always reasonable myself). As a Liberal, I don't think multi-millionaires pay their fair share into the system with all their lawyers and accountants finding every tax loophole under the sun. Can you afford a team of lawyers and accountants to do your taxes? I can't. And what about off shore accounts. Are they patriotic? As far as Obama's work- he has compromised so much that there are many Liberals angry with him. The day after he was elected I asked a friend of mine-'how would you like to have inherited the mess he got passed off to him by Cheney/Bush'? We both laughed about that. What about the money stolen from people by the financial sector? Too many regulations for the thieves, I guess. As far as guns- we've lost our way in this country.

I guess the problem conservatives have (along with their dogma) is the constant irritation of the liberals helping themselves to their earnings. And then having the nerve to tell them they aren't paying enough into the skewed system. Along with the "I know better than you how your life should be run" attitude. I'm waiting for the screaming from the lower end of the finacial spectrum when Obama starts taking from them. It will happen, count on it.

Its pretty obvious that this is a conservative community as are most rural and small towns. I guess what never ceases to amaze me is that Conservative commentary or belief is so often dogmatic. Its as if what they say or believe is directly from some higher power and those who have a different principle or belief...well they're either commies or stupid or anti-American or anti 2nd amendment or anti-constitution or anti-framers of the constitution, ad nauseum. I'm a Liberal and just as American as any Conservative. I have principles, but try not to be dogmatic because you cannot reason with dogmatists. Ever try reasoning with an conservative Evangelical Christian or a Tea Party member? Its not easy. They will tell you they have 'principles' but what they really have are dogmas. Look up the difference between 'dogma' and 'principles'. There's a big difference. The framers were principled- not dogmatic. That's why they included a provision to amend the Constitution when necessary.
