Of course don't let the community know anything while a cold blooded murderer runs rampant on the streets knowing what he/she did while everyone around him/her is completely blind to the fact!! I feel when a crime is committed where there are casualties or serious harm done to others that the entire county & surrounding counties have a right to know exactly what is going on -- because the perp goes on the run he/she has to pass through those counties & who knows what else can happen!! For anyone to commit a crime of homicide & then burn the house down are seriously demented.Or even if the house was just set on fire with ppl in it & they die still the person responsible is a cold blooded killer & still very dangerous..

A woman left the Puerto Rican Social Club in Dunkirk many many yrs ago & was found shot in the head(?) on rte 5 going towards Silver Creek & that was never solved. Jerry Nickerson was bludgeoned to death in his home on Lakeshore a few yrs back that was never solved.Mr Taft who was found murdered(under lots of snow) in the grape field on rte 60 up above Doughty st in DK & before bridge overpass near thruway overpass --never solved.Several females in JT missing, never found..It makes ya wonder how these cases can go unsolved for so long & just forgot about as if they never happened..Open these cold cases-- give the public some info & I bet someone just might remember just even the smallest clue that could help the case..Just look how long it took to solve the murder of Mr Salzarullo(?) 20 yrs or so & that Burlingame was walking around the community as a free man but also a cold blooded murderer..How scary is that?

People watch too many TV shows, and actually get used to every crime being solved in an hour. In truth, most police departments only solve murders at around 50%, and that includes those with very obvious connections. Random murders are rarely solved. Don't worry though, I'm sure one of our local crime experts will solve the cases! They seem to have an opinion on every crime in the area.

I don't believe I mentioned one name in my response. Take your pills, calm down, take a DEEP breath! There, feel better now? By the way, Capitalizing your response on the internet is considered to be shouting, and makes you look more than a little shrill.

KeepinitReal isn't very real and certainly isn't 4 anybody -- Keepinit is real 4 themselves only as some self-centric toddler who needs to unlock the Caps key (unimpressive ranting), take their meds (seriously) and go sit in the timeout corner (goo-goo).

ya know what I will not stoop to Mr Christophers level no more. I will comment & those who agree fine & for those like christopher & his many names he goes by & his fan club want to disagree thats fine too cuz they will no longer be irritating me.I'm entitled to my comment & I will continue to comment whether lame brain likes it or not..I know who I am--I'm no stupid person--I'm not a selfish self centered person--I care deeply about ppl & what happens to them, I worry about what happens in the community I live in as well as surrounding communities--along with what takes place around the world.I have let christopher take me out of my character way too many times & it made me flip & write things I normally would not write, say things I normally would not say.Ya know he thinks he knows me but he really don't & he will look so surprised if he knew who I really am..I apologize to you readers for my actions.I can't take back what I've already done.I can

I post under ONE name, and that, unlike you, is my real last name. That already makes me more honest than most internet cruisers, including yourself. So, as I said, calm down, take your medications (or get some)and just relax.

@wny critic I do not see anyone yelling & screaming at you & claiming you should solve the crimes & you think you know it all as they do to me..I'm not always right but The names I wrote today is public info & anyone can obtain it on the internet from past DK observer editions, old news stories,so it's not like I told highly confidential info that no one knew about..THANK YOU FOR POSTING WHAT YOU DID.IT NOT ONLY PROVES MY POINT THAT IT IS JUST ME THAT THIS CONTINUOUS HARASSMENT IS VENTED TOWARDS.BUT ALSO THAT OTHERS KNOW INFO SO THAT IT IS NOT KNOWN BY OTHERS.I waited for hrs to see if you got the nasty responses that I got--but nope you didn't..

Christopher, Don't brag too much. I like your style but your sister writes most of your stuff.

MrBear, excuse me? I'd have to ask you to talk to my sister about that. At least use a real name if you're going to lie. But then, that would require nerve, which anonymous liars never have. Ah well, it's life on the internet, voice given to the anonymously craven and weak.

Mrbear, not changing the subject. You didn't hear that from my sister, you dodn'ty hear it from me, you made it up and lied about like the cowardly blowhard you are. Tell you what, you know my family so well, pick a date and we can all meet up to discuss this issue, you, me and my sister. She'd be just as happy as me to tell you you're full of it. But again, you won't, that would take nerve and integrity, both of which you're sorely lacking. If you won't meet the challenge, name your "sources", then just shut up.

Sorry, Christopher, but many posters have valid reasons why we "choose" to remain anonymous. IMO, accusing someone of being cowardly and/or spineless for not adhering to your beliefs is pompous.

I try to keep my comments on the issue. I couldn't care less about the "real" names of anyone who does the same.

I understand SOME reasons for anonymity. But when that status means spreading complete lies, almost slanderous then yes, I have an issue with that. MrBear's comment was made up BS, and yep, it ticked me off. Yep, I don't think, I know he's a coward. Butas a matter of fact, my sister remembered a person who asked her some time back if she wrote my articles. I doubt there's 2 people that would think that in the area. You don't have to agree with me, Captain. But I will say this, if I owned a newspaper that allowed online comments, your name would automatically be your NAME, period. Would less people post? Probably. But there'd be a lot less BS, lies and false information.

I repeat, Mrbear is a liar. His comments weren't relevant to anything.

When allegations or accusations are made against someone personally, then I totally agree w/you, NO ONE should be allowed to hide behind anonymity, therefore, I completely understand your anger at MrBear. However, I don't necessarily agree that making real names mandatory would result in less BS being spewed. Some ppl are proud to voice their opinions, regardless of how idiotic they may be to others.

Again, if we stay on point when discussing general issues, that is what's important, not necessarily the real names of those you may (or may not) agree with.
