Wheel keeps spinning in our state

April 22, 2013

Well here we are after another rush to pass an on-time budget in the state, an effort that seems to dwarf any sort of logic or actual in-depth study of what’s in the budget....

Dc misses it again.he always starts with some nonsense name or gaggle stuff. From dc we can see why the democrats thought they were doing the right thing during the great deperesssion.Population decline, cities decaying and dc trumpets success ! This area is a shadow of what it was during the 50's and 60's and dc says success ! 8% unemployment for years and dc says succees ! Dc what would you consider failure ! Dc, is this how we drive costs down, like your famous nonsense on how cheap the schools are?

Look at the record: NYS lost seats in the US House...because of decline in population. Good thing you moved back it may help them get one of those seats back. Riply has no high school of it's own..or is it Brocton...or was it Westfield? Dunkirk's population is slimming down no jobs to speak of however taxes and water rates increase. Not a good picture for far western NYS. At least Brocton has a new arch.

Really Christuufuu, you need to step up your game and do some solid research on NYS' prior years key indicators -- and compare them to other states of NY's size -- before you start harping on the shallow obvious. You can start with the NY Times being the "newspaper of record" (as in they check their facts...) and go from there.

I left NYS and lived a four other states throughout the country. They and their neighboring states were more economically, fiscally and politically buggered-up than NYS. The best thing about those states was seeing them in my rear view mirror, so I moved back.

You should get out more.

Wow, i actually agree with some of this article . there may be hope for the democrats yet . The govt is the biggest perpetrator of fraud now and noone is in jail. From the stadium to global warming, medicaid, the govt is scamming . yet private enterprise is blamed unceasingly for greed. Its a great diversion by our govt to blame private enterprise so the govt can continue scamming.
