I can't believe Bill Coughlin. If he is using the 1st amendment of the right of the press to access these records then why does Mr. Coughlin hide behind the "Executive Session" rule when they want to avoid the press. Seems like he can pick and choose his 1st amendment rule when it favors him.

If the sales tax measure to keep the tax at 7.5% had failed and the sales tax dropped to 7%, the county would be forced to increase property taxes nearly $1.00 per $1K assessment to make up the difference. Cornell knows what she is doing, her constituents are mostly renters, many on welfare.

It appears if GEORGEB67 is correct, neither the writer or Legislator Cornell know what was voted on.

gun privacy should be like the right to privacy for abortions or same sex stuff the libs love. How the libs just love demonizing the gun owner.

For the record, there was no vote to increase the sales tax. The resolution simply asks that we maintain the current sales tax rate. We are required to ask the state's permission to keep the sales tax rate the same. Passing the resolution does NOT increase the sales tax rate.
