what a thrilling story. First, just to be part of the Boston Marathon, as it is one of the largest runs in the world. Secondly, to be there when a terrorist attack occurs. Thrilling to say the least.

Thankfully you were all ok. Thanks for sharing such a moving story.

Yep turning in them old BB guns will fetch you ten bucks which of course won't cover your fuel costs but will make Dunkirk much safer. Now of course you can turn in your old rifle or shotgun and get $50.00 or you could sell it yourself(thru a licensed dealer)and maybe get a few more bucks. Since rifles and shotguns are the leading safty issue in Dunkirk I guess you'll just have to let your conscience be your guide. After you finish submitting to "big brother" at one of the churches, hightail it over to the Erie County fairgrounds for the two day gun show.

They can have my pressure cooker when they pry it from my cold dead fingers. We live in a violent society and that's what has to change.

Um...Hitler was talking about conquests and nations he planned to invade. Disarming the local populace of a conquered country is nothing new...

In fact, the German Weapons Act of 1938 came long after his rise to power. Both the 1938 and 1928 laws required manufacturers to record serial numbers and purchasers' names (to be given annually to the police).

The 1938 bill was really about limiting purchases to citizens of the Reich - i.e, non-Jews, who lost citizenship rights in1935. The bill lowered the age from 20 to 18, and still required permits to purchase and another to carry.
