Any chance we could get the Observer to actually do some reporting on details about this, and other school budgets?

In this case, total students, total being tuitioned, total cost of tuitioning, etc....

So, lowering a tax levy on a ghost town is a win? Is this what Uncle WVa Sugar Daddy says about all those closed down mining town schools, while he sends his kids off to a private prep school??

seriously, check out Uncle Sugar Daddy online -- the guy is on the board of directors on one of WVa's most prestigious prep schools...)

Observer reported Westfield @ 2.17% increase. Gowanda 3% increase. Sherman 4% increase.

So in Ripley, lower taxes for taxpayers and increased options for students, sounds like a win to me.

RipleyResident,

Just to bring you upto date, it appears that Dc has some sort of stalkerlike fixation on the Observer and it's owner and he will twist himself into a knot to find some way to bash them on every story, even when he agrees with what they are saying.

It's sort of pathetic actually, but there you have it.
