Until we stop calling these adults "kids" They will behave like adolesents. It is interesting that their was a big consern of FSU student arrests that went into a college survey that gave FSU a black eye last year. I am sure when it was a FSU student the bad sheep was returned home and not ticketed. This will definately help the image of FSU in the future polls.

I agree with you for the most part, judeye. I'd go so far to say as long as there's no destruction of (other's) property and they keep the trash on their own yards then have at it. That's just common sense and respect for others.

Looks like it was a blast. A shame to be too old to keep partying once a year at FF, job and family now prevail. But I remember those times fondly.

The biggest problem I see is that the little feifdom of Fredonia needs to have something to complain about every month or they just aren't satisfied.

Just watched the video. All I saw was kids having fun. Not much different than we did some forty years ago.

I do think getting to know your college student neighbors helps. In all the years I have lived here have only called the police one time on the students. Years ago when they invited my then 13 yr old daughter and her friend to their party. I have had my next door neighbor report a burglary at my house when I was not home. Their quick reporting resulted in a quick apprehension of those responsible.

But, yes we do need to address some of the out of control behaviors, the destruction of property, and the excessive noise. Glad to see this community meeting.
