Nothing said of course about the ridiculous rise in costs, and any effort to contain them, ESPECIALLY relative to our SUNY system. How nice, the costs go up and up, the Feds kick in more and more money, so we ALL get to pay more, even without any kids attending! Maybe it's time to look at curriculums, administrative positions and other unnecessary expenses instead, like the Incubator or that $4.5 million Day Care.

Fat Uncle Fester Reed isn't tellingyou that Federal aid increased because the state support portion of state universities decreased at a faster rate.

A more transparent tax code and 529 plans have NOTHING to do with the rising costs of higher education.

And of course, Fat Uncle Fester isn't telling you that the gastric surgery he had to reduce his weight was 100% paid by US taxpayers -- how many of his equally obese constituents need such life saving procedures but can't afford them??

That's our congressman: all huff, puff and shallow stuff.

Perhaps Reed should sponsor in the House Sen. Warren's proposed law that student loans carry the same rate as big banks get from the federal reserve. That would help them.
