I'll tell you what it really has to do with, it's how much of that money for the disabled comes from NYS, and how much comes from the Federal Government.

If NYS has to repay Medicaid what does that have to do the with the disabled? Is it their fault the system didnt work? Is it their fault they are disabled? I wish the governor could spend a day in their lives and maybe compassion would prevail?

I might have mentioned the millions thrown Ralph Wilson's way as being more onerous than the money thrown at Hollywood, but that's nit picking. There are millions upon millions of equally bad spending throughout the NYS budget. But Mr. Goodell is spreading fertilizer as to not knowing why the Governor cut spending for the disabled. The reason is the overbilling of Medicaid in previous years which NYS has to repay Medicaid to the tune of $3 billion! And NYS is still wasting millions upon millions of dollars for the care of the disabled. Albany is filled with political hacks with unnecessary jobs in that agency. Try using "SeethroughNY" to look there for waste instead of picking on local teachers and DPW workers.
