The huge margins in voting tells the story. Most people are satisfied with the way things are, despite some posts regularly appearing here on this site.

I'm glad to see that all the budgets passed. Not allowing the budget to pass would not lower our taxes. At all. But it would hurt the students the most.

Look at the voter turn out. Barely 10% of Fredonia's population. Most were probably employees or families of employees of the district. It is bound to pass. Until people get angry enough with the program it will continue grow in expenses and cost tax payers more.

" Most people are satisfied with the way things are".

Replace the word "people" with "school district employees" and you have the real truth.

Personally I think it's mostly a case of "why bother?"

Using Fredonia as an example, they only really had a vote on about $350,000 of a budget of almost $29 million.

Actually, you're correct. The real headline should read:

"Raped Again!"
