TYpical, typical clueless church lady gaggle OBSERVER board nonsense and nosiness: "Although the company is not legally obligated (but that never ever bothered us), we believe the Lake Erie Regional Health System of New York Interim CEO J. Gary Rhodes should have gone on record (aired the private operating business of a private enterprise) with its restructuring plan not that we ever understand a business plan anyway, as our WVa Uncle Sugar Daddy provides corporate welfare for our operations...).

If one follows the clueless gaggle's thinking, then any one or any business which receives any single bit of public monies in any form should be liable to open its books as to how its operate their private financial business.

And they accuse liberals of being "Big Brother"...

Uhhhh! Let's start with in NYS all I repeat all hospitals are public benefit corporations under US Tax Code 501 (c) 3 or actual public entities. But generally a business they are not, in NYS. IN the case of LERHS they are solely responsible to the Board of Directors and the NYS health Department. All members of the Board are local citizens they and the Interim CEO truly are responsible to us as both users of the hospitals and the very fact public funds are used in a BIG Way to support the institution. But it is NOT a BUSINESS.
