American...you weren't involved with any of my last few posts, they were strictly aimed at 1Laona. 1Laona, you'd better reread that "invitation". It was a DARE, clearly, for me to show up and say what I said to you to a group. I don't SEEK confrontation, but if that group were to find me, I'd say anything to their faces I'd say online. Like I said, numbers and size don't mean much to me, never have, less so after Vietnam. Yes, I agree the NYS Safe Act is a botched up mess. Yes, I have guns. Other than that, we don't agree on much of anything relative to Gun Control or politics, and I'm sure it'd be the same with most of those others on the bus.

Christopher, I will say it one more time. I respect and honor what all veterans have done. And all vets esp. combat ones are hero's and always have been to me and my family. My parents raised me to think that way. My Dad was one of those that never much talked about his service time but as I grew older I grew to understand why. He was on Guadalcanal. But enough of his story. As I said I respect and honor what all vets did but that does not mean I respect what they may have become after. Just like I respect the office of the President but think the man there deserves none what so ever. Thought that way about Bush after he signed the non-patriot act also.

I thought you agreed that the NY SAFE ACT should be repealed because of how it was pushed through? That would be something you have in common. Many are vets, another thing in common.we have guns-you have guns.....Why would I think you'd be afraid to talk to your neighbors?

Why would I want a free seat on a bus going somewhere with people I have nothing in common with? The implication was I wouldn't dare say anything to their faces. And why wouldn't I? What is implied? Sorry pallie, that's a threat and not so thinly veiled. Unlike you, I'll say anything I believe to anyone's face, size nor numbers mean much to me, never have. So, why would I do anything that provocative? As for "being taken to the woodshed", no, someone disagreed with me. He also apparently missed the point of my article, but still, at least expressed an opinion under his own name, and that I'll respect. He also disrespected MY service, so much for that angle. But the Right Wing does that all the time, all veterans are heroes unless they stray from the pack view.

Nope I see no "threats" in what she said. Other then her facts about you she even offered to pay your bus fare to the rally. What more can someone such as yourself ask for Chrissy? And my name is Bill in case you really need to know but you can call me Sir because you have not earned the privilege of calling me by my name.

Geeze, "Murikin", by any chance did you read 1Laona's last rant? Seemed almost threatening, didn't it? Tough talk from cowards hiding behind fake names. Ya'll have fun now, ya hear?

Chrissy just seems to be a small petty person that has to use filth to get his? point across. I would hope the Observer will see fit to pull his post. But probably not, I think he has an in considering some of the trash he writes and spouts. Never gets called for it.

By the way, not all veterans, in fact more than likely a majority of veterans, fought about anything having anything to do with the Constitution, at least not since the Civil War. WW I, no way. WW II, we fought to prevent the Germans from world domination, not to defend the Constitution per se. Korea and Vietnam? No way, both were Cold War issues gone hot. Iraq? Totally BS situation there, and in fact as against the Constitution as you could get. Afghanistan was a hunt for a guy that attacked us, an act of revenge and retribution, NOTHING to do with the Constitution. I'm getting more than a little sick of veterans acting as if they're all super patriots fighting for the flag and the Constitution. In reality, most combat vets I know were fighting for their lives and the lives of the guys next to them, no more, no less. The Constitution was as far from our minds as you could get.

"Constitutional Scholar"!!? Are you kidding me!? You'll be with people who only read portions of documents and skim over any parts that contradict their preconceived notions. Tell you what Judeye, you show up and take a survey of all those on that bus, ask them what "a well regulated Militia" means. Ask how that corresponds to those who say NOTHING in the 2nd Amendment allows for ANY restrictions on weapons. They'll probably pull guns on you, call you a commie and send you home.

1Laona...on a day to remember those who fought..and gave all...for our CONSTITUTION..which last time I checked if we do not like it we have the right to CHANGE IT...it is called elections, constitutional amendments and laws.

In this Country, if we do not like the way things are going, we go to the ballot box, not pick up arms.

Chrissy has to be one of the most hateful and spiteful posters in here. If you don't agree with him? then you become trash and uninformed according to his sad line of thinking. Well Chrissy we will be standing up for your rights along with everyone else's and will try to fight the good fight for you at the same time even though you are willing to give up yours.

1Laona, give it up, you're a nutcase too obsessed with one issue to form any sort of intelligent opinion on the subject at hand. memorial Day is to honor the fallen, PERIOD!!! If you're too obsessed or stupid to understand that, I have nothing else to say to you on the subject. You could have started your own thread, couldn't you? But no, not you, you had to use a day honoring dead soldiers for your own personal issue. If you can't see how wrong that is, well..

Christopher, don't you know what they fought and died for?On a day Honoring our Heros it's seem like we should be fighting the fight that they no longer can.No moonshine on bus, this is a sober undertaking-no guns or knives-we're not a mob.

hey learned christopher, i am such an anus, my work has saved the lives of thousands of govt employees, namely cops and military. especially the military ones are great. we can mourn one less death . So please continue the name calling. I look forward to all your learned or rather unlearned posts. remember it was a chemist(like myself)and the greatest ones in the history of the world i learned from or a business man that gave all those jobs to the ungrateful union members like you ! It most certainly was not the govt or a union employee. they somehow lacked the talent or the drive. They all sounded like you ! Long live me as an anus , right christopher ! lets hear it from Paul christopher, learned liberal and tolerant too.

hey learned liberal posters, did ya see Marys article? just think if there was no civil war ! Christopher resorts to name calling . How smart Paul Christopher is ! he is talking about genius !Obvious he has no genius ability. Drone strikes bad, get off the high horse libs. On PBS I saw the numerous atrocities committed by the allies in WW2. We massacred civilians by the millions, making a swift and permanent end to the war. There is no such thing as a war crime. Christopher and the libs with their mask of protecting rights for all. Christopher, do you know anything besides name calling ? any science , history, logic etc ? I iamgine your family must be proud of you ! not for today paul says, but the vile name calling from him continues. A lib, do as I say not as I do !

Of course you do, American, you're as big a troll as 1laona. Funny how you're so certain over what rights men died for. My, my, what a genius you are, almost a psychic ability at play, and more than a bit presumptuous as well. You claim to honor veterans, than use their day of memory to make political statements. You and "Murikin" enjoy the Moonshine on your trip.
