The article did not say it was a passenger train. If it was not it would answer the question of how this could happen. Only safe travel on a freight train is in the engine house.

This is unbelievable. We travel by trains often throughout this Country. I am trying to imagine what he did that would have caused him to fall off. Even when my grandchildren were under 5, they could run safely from car to car. I can only think that he must have opened a door maybe to smoke. Still, how very tragic.
