Wondeful commentary indeed!

After moving back to the area, my husband and I have friends that have come to visit us from out of town places. They are simply astounded at the beauty this area has to offer. Some are even more astounded to see that we don't take advantage of the scenery and the history of our unique area to drum up more business and attract more visitors. I would like to add that we must also protect what we have here. And then expand it. I know I would love to help in any way I could.

Excellent commentary.

Yes we have much to offer in this area to tourists. I would love to see a committee get together to make a list and see just how we could better market our area. Maybe a historic map of this area. We have so many "firsts" here. I am sure they would draw many. The festivals seem to bring in tourists as well.
