"It's worries they say comes down to rates". The Business Council represents businesses throughout the state and they all worry about energy costs. I think NRG needs to demonstrate that they can produce electricity at a cost that allows other businesses to function and compete. Does the cost of local taxes, wages and benefits at the Dunkirk plant allow them to be competitive? It's a serious question tat needs to be answered.

Shagla is displeased.....There should be a set payment of 5000 to serve as a legislator and nothing more. If you don't want to serve for that pay then don't. Perhaps this would attract people who want to do the people's work instead of something to do for the money. Also there should be term limits. Two terms and out.
