Just days away from graduation and beginning the rest of their lives, Dunkirk High School seniors took time to help their city out....

Let me just add my compliments to those students who took the time to dress nicely for the graduation photograph supplement in today's Observer. Some of the Dunkirk boys even wore neckties and it's nice to know they care about their appearance.

Captain makes a good point. Each year we graduate hundreds of our finest only to lose them to other areas where thay can find employment and a better quality of life. Shame on all those elected officials who refuse to make the needed changes. Many thanks to those who participated in the clean-up.

Good job and thanks. Now a local law that mandates 40 hours of community service for littering including dog waste for a first offense.
