Marcia, I've attempted to tell you several times maybe this one will get through. In the years of Ellis Island's great influx there were no social nets paid for by the taxpayers. Now there are, throwing millions more onto the already strained to the breaking point budgets of the states and federal governemnt is the problem. Not the color of the immigrants skin. Your closeted racism, along with roberts is disturbing. No one mentions the subject except you two and the troll Dc. I know why he spews the childish comments he does but you and robert? Consider the cost to the country and the next two, three, probably fourth generation from now.

Mike you wouldn't be referring to Columbia University right here in NY State that hired the woman cop killer would you? The one funded by our taxes that will not allow military recruiters on campus? Have to have that diversity you know. Really sickening!

why follow rules when if you get away with breaking them long enough you are free to go? Even murder seems like its ok in the liberal mind. There are a professor or two that were members of a gang of thugs that bombed a bank killing a man. But even though they were known to be killers the universities hired them in the name of diversity. What a joke...and a very bad one. Personal responsibility to a liberal is such a foreign concept to ask them to have it has become an insult. And an excuse to bring out the race card. Pathetic

robert "so whe was the IRS looking at tea party groups? hmmmmmm lets see, might it have something to do with a requirement stating that they couldn't use more than 49% of their funds for political activity and still be given a tax break?" Doesn't that criteria fit a few liberal groups as well? ACORN comes to mind. Of course they have changed the name of the group but it still enjoys the tax free status without extra (scrutiny to you, targeted harassment to me) IRS attention, doesn't it. And they do so much to help white people, do they not? But that isn't racist in your view? Nor wrong? Your white guilt is showing. Desperation makes you run to the race card, it seems to be the trump card of the century for the liberals. The truth of the matter is there is racism from every race in this country towards every other race. My problem with the illegals isn't that they want to stay, it's that the people that lined up and followed the rules are now penalized for doing so...cont

the people that can not get past the race issue are the ones that bring it up, as a non-nonchalant argument when they appear to be losing, have no ground, or want to incite violence. At this point in time, calling some a racist is the antithesis of the "n" word.

Judeye-I KNOW I have explained to you on more than one occasion that the investigation has nothing, zero, zilch to do with who was or was not denied. How in the heck can you comment on something if you don't even know what it's about??? The answer may lay within a recent survey I noticed, that being that 8 out of 10 american women wear the wrong size bra. Oops sorry off topic, what is it you wish to look up?

Oh and do you think that the SEIU,the AFL-CIO,and the biggest(dollar wise)contributours, the teachers unions should as well loose their exempt status????? If you choose(for about the sixth time) to ignore the question I guess I'll have the answer right?

joew..would you please give me the site where you read that? Every article I have read has stated the exact opposite.

Do you know how many conservative right wing groups were DENIED?

Look it up

Thanks for providing the citation where it states that ONLY conservative groups were targeted and that it is made up that liberal groups came under the same type of scrutiny.

@judeye, what we need is no more tax exemptions for groups. Period

Could not agree more when they engage in POLITICAL ACTIVITY.

I do not think you would mean for churches to now be taxed. But ..hmm..what a concept. Just might help reduce our deficit big time if we taxed churches, especially those who conduct political activities from the pulpit.

I strongly suggest DCLooney that you read the IG letter addressed to the ranking Democrat on the HOC before having another orgasm. It is available on line. Another thing you might wish to do before you "swallow your foot" is to look up and read and understand(?)the difference between a Liberal and a Progessive.

Joeeeeeew -- hate to bust your lazy butt Fox Noise bubble, but alas, no, liberal groups were targeted -- even Bloomberg Financial News updated as much at 730 pm tonight.

Judeye-does that tax exempt ban you keep talking about include the SEIU,the AFL-CIO,and the BIGGEST contributors, the teachers unions. Why can't you answer that question Judeye,it's been asked at least a half dozen times?

Marcia-no such person as Senator Issa. You are establishing quite a track record relative to being ignorant! I might point out that the IRS is neither a democrat or a republican but rather an agency that is SUPPOSED to be non partisan and totally above board! I suggest you and a few others go back in time and look at the history of the HOC!

Dclooney & Judeye-the IRS Inspector General came out and said"the claims that liberal groups were as well targeted are false," "never happened"! Sorry to bust your collective bubbles.

But if you spend millions of tax dollars constantly investigating every word spoken or move made by a democrat and never pass any legislation you're Senator Issa.

Ah, the ol' change-the-subject strategy for the nonexistent IRS scandal to the non-existent illegal immigration problem -- again, hardly-ever-clever-or-original.

Illegal immigrants are approx less than 3% of our population -- again, less than 3%. However, they do the majority of the work with produce & fruits in the fields; maid service with hotels/motels; yard, lawn and golf course work; scullery work in almost all major city restaurants; & any other manual labor work available.

There's a word if you really, really believe that the less-than-3%, doing the most uneducated menial of jobs on the bottom rung of the economic ladder, are a serious source for the economic concerns & govt spending problems of the remaining 97+% of our country: pathetic.

Marcia, there you go on another anti-American rant you worthless drivel-spewing Arab apologist. Please find a new country in which to live rather than trifle us with your verbal diarrhea.

By the way (for all) the terms racist and racism are the most grossly misunderstood and misused words. Not surprising since usually it's a dimwitted left-winger tossing them around since they cannot intellectually compete with libertarians and conservatives.

Regardless.. observing groups of people (perhaps connected by their race) and applying beliefs based on observations about that group is called stereotyping. One need not be racist to stereotype. I steroetyped hispanics in a previous comment. To be racist I would have to believe that by virtue of being hispanic, all hispanics are incapable of anything other than being welfare rats. This is not true as we have many successful hispanics legally residing in the USA. Best to understand big boy terms before using them.

PR24601, the only requirement to getting in the US through Ellis Island for Europeans was to pass a physical. So we should give all of the so called illegals a physical and let them stay. Of course the policy at the time was racist, because of you were Asian you could never achieve legal standing or become a citizen, just work on building the railroad. The more things change the more they stay the same. We have always been Euro-centric racist nation.
