I suppose we should feel some compassion for Dcroaknig since we knew he was mentally challenged but now we know he is blind as well.

And only trolls call people toadies. And only trolls would use a term like gaggle unless talking about geese.

When the gaggle intentionally misleads in its discussion of the state comptroller and the state in the aggregate, I used facts at the state aggregate level -- and I use US Census data at that.

If the gaggle ever does some solid, data analyzed reporting as to the economic demise of Chautauqua County, instead of its usual Monday-morning-quarterbacking drivel, then I'll discuss the county in particular.

Joeeeeew -- judging from your comment, toadies clearly don't know how to do basic book report research and data interpretation.

There needs to be a fifth category called "fiscal disaster". Half of the states population and all of the states prosperity is located in New York City. I think census figures tell the real story and for our county the numbers are not good. The two cities, Dunkirk and Jamrestown, have bee losing population for many years. Just in my lifetime the population of Dunkirk has declined by one-third. We have seen the closing of churches and schools and the closing of mny of our finest employers while many of our residents flee the city looking for opportunity. We graduate hundreds of our children from local high schools only to lose them to areas where there is growth and prosperity. "Fiscal disaster" is not too strong a term to describe Chautauqua County and the missing ingredient is investment from the private sector. To get that investment will require an extreme makeover of expensive local governments that are choking off the much needed private sector investment.

Taxpayers are being taxed out of their homes...really? Where is this happening? NYS population in 2010 was 19,378,102 & in 2011, it was 19,465,197 -- an increase...

Businesses are fleeing New York state because it costs too much to do business here? Really? From 2007 to 2010, NYS lost 1,111 business -- or 0.12% in 3 yrs. That's 1/10th of 1% -- clearly, a new definition of fleeing...

Fleeing? Why then does Forbes rank NY as having the 12th best economic climate, 13th best growth prospects and 11th Quality of life for businesses???

Fleeing? Why did the WVa Uncle Sugar Daddy owner of the clueless church lady gaggle OBSERVER buy the OBSERVER and other NYS businesses was sooooo tax costly to do business here?

The only stress I see here is stressing the ideological lie in face of facts.
