What a timely piece, Mr. W. I have been recently struggling with the limitations that growing older has left me. I am thirty five years your junior and sometimes I get wrapped up in my joint disease and actually dream about flying through the air on the basketball court as I once did. Your article was an inspiration to be thankful for what I do have and not to dwell on what has disappeared. Thank-you for your wisdom and for being a positive role model.

My only problem is i hear voices ! just kidding. mr westlund, the wisdom of your years is reflected in many of your articles. About there having to be some sort of higher being . Observe a child, who knows exactly what higher forces will unfold as it gets older. A compass needle, taking its cue from outside forces. what higher learning forces can be made to appear from an adult ? the libs say none without a tax increase or govt employee. For your learned wit, you have been called names by some of the unlearned posters here. If only the present me generation, hooked on digital devices could learn from life as you did.
