One fact that was not mentioned last night was the fact that just yesterday, NY came close to breaking an all time electricity demand record and the NY system operator was reaching out to large power users to curtail their useage to prevent critical voltage issues and brownouts. I do believe the elected officials are well educated and presented an excellent case for repowering. The National Grid guys we're certainly outnumbered and outclassed.

I noticed that Cerne stated that he would have to give up 58 teaching positions. Not a word was said about administrative staff. Sports programs and a host of other nice to haves. See how it works. The Superintendent does not mention admin positions. Isn't that the way is always works. Play to the sympathy of the people with children. Where was the outpouring of support for Carriage House? I rest my case.
